Course summary

Gain the skills to conduct business while considering the environment, ushering in a new era of corporate responsibility.

As the world wrestles with how it can achieve Net Zero by 2050, the demand for socially conscious business leaders is growing. We need these experts to drive sustainable initiatives, ensure businesses operate efficiently, enhance corporate reputation and help safeguard the planet for future generations.

On our Environment and Business degree, you’ll combine the study of social and environmental sustainability issues with good business and management practice. You’ll learn the pressures and opportunities facing businesses due to the current environmental challenges and corporate social responsibility agendas.

You’ll develop skills in using concepts, methods and tools for transforming business practices to help tackle global economic, environmental and social challenges.

As well as learning from the School of Earth and Environment, you’ll have the opportunity to study modules under the University Business School, the Institute for Transport Studies and the School of Law, to secure a real breadth of knowledge.

You can also tailor your course to acquire the specialist knowledge and transferable skills you’ll need for your next career steps in this field. By the end of your course, you’ll have the expertise and confidence to be at the forefront of sustainable and forward-thinking business.

"If you care about helping fight climate change in a realistic way that can make effective change, apply for Environment and Business. You won’t regret it!"
