The BSc (Hons) Sport Coaching and Physical Education course aims to:

Engage students critically with specialised theories and knowledge, promoting a multidisciplinary understanding of the subject area.

Solent University can also accept the following English Language Test: Duolingo English Language Test 115 overall with a minimum of 95 in each component. All international applicants need to be aware that the English language requirements to attend Solent University, and the English language requirements to obtain a visa from the Home Office, may be different. This means that if you meet the Solent University language requirement to gain a place on the course, you may still have to meet additional requirements to be granted with a visa by the Home Office. Compulsory costs

Students require a Solent sports kit. This is provided for free for students in their first year of study.
Any additional kit would need to be bought by the individual. As a package, this will cost approximately £135.
Students are required to undertake DBS criminal records checks as part of their enrolment. The cost of this is covered by the University.
Year two
L2 Certificate in Coaching Multi-skills Development in Sport: approx £100.
Optional costs

Students may have the chance to undertake optional Active IQ qualifications alongside their studies. Prices vary but are between £100 and £300.
