Overview
Animation and Game Art are complimentary disciplines that combine creativity with cutting-edge technology and tools. On this exciting joint honours degree, you will have opportunities develop your artistic abilities and enhance your work as you develop your skills in design and practical areas.
The course takes a practical approach through the use of industry-standard equipment in dedicated studios. With the support of an award-winning teaching team and opportunities to gain real-world experience, you will graduate with a portfolio of work relevant to a range of creative professional fields.

Students have access to the Motion Performance Centre where they will experience directing motion capture shoots before processing data for use in animated film or game engines.
Stop Motion Studios with Dragon Frame, camera and lighting rigs.
Live Projects with Industry Briefs for animation and game development.
Learn wide ranging practical skills including concept generation, character design and development, 3d modelling, CGI animation, digital 2d animation, digital sculpting and UI design.
