To include Biology and (Chemistry or Mathematics or Physics).
Subjects excluded: Citizenship Studies, Critical Thinking, Global Perspectives and Research (GPR) and General Studies.

Advanced Higher A in (Biology or Human Biology) and B in (Chemistry or Mathematics or Physics), or vice-versa.

(HL6,6,5) including HL6 in Biology and HL6 in one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Mathematics or Physics

All applicants must have attained the following qualifications, or equivalent, in addition to the specific entry requirements for individual programmes.

  1. SQA National 5 (B) in English and one SQA National 5 (B) from the following: Biology, Chemistry, Computing science, Geography, Lifeskills Mathematics (A grade), Mathematics, Physics, Psychology.
  2. GSCE (5 or B) in English language or English literature, and one GSCE (5 or B) from the following: Biology, Chemistry, Computing Science, Geography, Mathematics, Physics, Psychology.

Additional fee information

Home fees for 2027-2028 are yet to be confirmed by the Scottish Government but are expected to remain at £1,820.
EU and Overseas fees are £33,250 for entry in 2026/7. The fee for 2027/8 entry has not yet been set.
