Course summary

The world needs good managers at every level, whether managing day-to-day business operations or in the headquarters of businesses, government or charities.

Whether you plan to start your own business or take the reins of an existing one, you’ll need to be well equipped with a number of skills. We make sure that you develop as a person, gaining new abilities in strategic thinking, problem solving and communication.

Our BA (Hons) Business Management (top-up) degree programme allows you to top up your current qualification, such as a foundation-level degree or HND, to a full degree. It is the equivalent of the final year of an undergraduate degree, and offers a chance to deepen your knowledge, skills and understanding of your subject, while also getting an internationally recognised qualification.

This Business Management course has been designed by our team of academics, who have experience of working as managers in a variety of industry sectors. This degree takes into account what employers and industry experts expect from new management recruits.

This degree programme blends both academic study and skills development to give you the best start after graduation. The course builds on contemporary management skills and approaches, to help you secure your first management job.

By the time you complete the course, you’ll have the knowledge and skills needed to be a successful manager, in private, public or charitable sectors throughout the world. You’ll improve your entrepreneurial skills and become more confident in making crucial decisions.
