Course summary
This course is specifically designed for holders of HND or equivalent (Edexcel, ABE, NCC), a Foundation Degree in a related field, or a professional qualification up to level 5 such as AIA, IFA, ACCA, or CIMA. The award allows you to gain a full honours degree in one year.
You will cover two core areas in international finance and accounting. These modules in particular will help you to develop your skills in critical analysis and synthesis. You will then have a choice of three or more modules to reflect your career aspirations covering themes such as international finance, the changing face of the monetary environment and raising your financial awareness, so that you may advise on investments for others.
You will also have the opportunity to produce an individual project which will give you the chance to integrate and consolidate material from all modules and to investigate issues of interest in greater depth.
This course also offers significant exemptions from the Association of International Accountants’ (AIA) exams.
