This Digital Content Creation course teaches you how to build long-term brand awareness and engagement through impactful campaigns.

Integrated Foundation Year
In the Integrated Foundation Year on this course, you will be first introduced to the fundamental principles of design. Your foundation year gives you the time, space and support to explore your strengths, build confidence and prepare for the demands of project-based, industry-focused learning. Modules are as follows:

Module 1: Diagnostic exploration - making informed choices
Module 2: Technical - Technical knowledge in practice
Module 3: Specialist - Innovating specialist practice
Module 4: Integration - Integrated practice for progression to Higher Education

After you have completed your Integrated Foundation Year, you will study the following:

Year 1
Year 1 introduces content creation fundamentals - experimenting with photography, video production and editing, and developing a deeper understanding of social media strategy. You'll also explore graphic design, branding, digital ethics and consumer psychology, with early experience pitching to clients.

Year 2
Year 2 deepens your social media and brand strategy skills, and where you’ll build campaigns that include influencer marketing and public relations. Your video production skills will advance, with cinematography, motion graphics and basic animations.

  • Preparing for Industry

  • Motion Graphics & Animated Storytelling

  • Advanced Content Production

  • Innovation Sprints

  • Live & Work-based Learning

Year 3
Final year prepares you for industry, responding to client briefs and collaborating with peers to build a standout portfolio, explore the future digital landscape, and where your future lies with in it. Your final semester will culminate in a self-directed strategic content project.

  • Live Pitch

  • Market Research & Methods

  • Competition Briefs

  • Rave Futures

  • Major Project

You'll explore photography, videography, motion graphics, podcasting, social media marketing, search engine optimisation, copywriting, user experience design and app prototyping, animation, working with clients and the future of the digital landscape. Assessment method

You will be continually assessed throughout the course using a variety of methods including but not limited to pitches/presentations, digital content plans, marketing material, digital campaigns, showreels, website and digital portfolio. Each module has a Formative and a Summative assessment point, where feedback and advice are provided to develop and complete projects and a final grade is awarded.
