BS(c) Digital Media and Communications is designed to develop the next generation of storytellers and critical thinkers, equipping you with the skills and resources to create powerful narratives across a variety of digital platforms and channels. With impactful storytelling at our core, we blend creativity, technology, critical analysis and real-world application to prepare you for a rapidly evolving media landscape.

You'll start by mastering the essential skills for a career in digital communications: research, critical thinking, and technical skills contextualised via the lens of digital media, before moving onto the fundamental principles of design and production. From traditional media to cutting-edge digital platforms, you'll learn to adapt and play within diverse media environments.

At the heart of the curriculum is a commitment to experimentation, innovation, and playfulness. You will be encouraged to push boundaries, test new ideas, and challenge conventions.   • Taught with your employability in mind, graduates of this degree have gone on to secure jobs in digital media content creation, web design, user experience, digital project management, research and development, teaching and information management, and with companies including PwC and BBC Research & Development.
