Course summary

Learn essential business management skills alongside German and gain an advantage in the global workplace. You’ll divide your time equally between both subjects, exploring how businesses develop strategies, handle risk and make decisions. You’ll see what’s involved in functions such as marketing, accounting and finance. Combining business with German opens doors to German-speaking cultures and communities. You’ll graduate with a BA (Honours) Business Management and German and a distinctive mix of skills that prepare you for employment, international opportunities or further study. German is one of several languages available as part of our BA (Honours) Business Management and Languages.

Modules

Course Modules

This degree has three stages, each comprising 120 credits:
In Stage 1, you’ll study a 60-credit introductory business management module and two 30-credit language modules.
Next, in Stage 2, you’ll study your second 60-credit business management module and a 60-credit German module.
Finally, in Stage 3, you’ll study your last 60-credit business management module and another 60-credit German module.
