This online or blended learning programme is for students who wish to fit in study with other commitments and not to have to attend the University for timetabled classes or examinations.
Depending on the modules chosen, it can lead to a career in areas such as systems development, IT management, or deploying advanced applications in specific disciplines. A wide variety of optional modules are available with this course, allowing you to steer your degree into a direction that suits you and your career.
Core modules: Contemporary practices in information technology.
Optional modules: Advanced database; computer science MSc project; distributed systems security; e-learning applications development; interaction design; learner centred design; measures and models for software engineering; mobile standards, interfaces and applications; multicast and multimedia networking; secure systems programming; software development tools and methods; software engineering practice and experience; web scripting and application development; wireless, mobile and ad-hoc networking.
Assessment methods include coursework and online tests.

A recent, good bachelors degree (e.g. honours degree from the UK) or equivalent. Plus IELTS 6.0 if your first language is not English.
Applicants who do not wholly meet these requirements, but who are considered to have the professional experience, motivation or potential to succeed at the programme, may also be accepted.
