Our Postgraduate Certificates in Public Health are tailored to accommodate learners at various stages of their professional development - whether you're new to the discipline or seeking to enhance your existing knowledge.
Each Certificate carries 60 CATS points and serves as an introductory pathway into further postgraduate study. Upon successful completion, you may choose to progress to our Postgraduate Diploma and/or Master of Public Health (MPH) programme.
The Postgraduate Certificate in Public Health Sciences provides a strong foundation in the scientific aspects of public health (epidemiology, research methods, statistics) as well as exploring the determinants of health and an introduction to key health improvement principles.
