Course summary
If you are interested in pursuing a career where you can combine a passion for sport, physical activity and exercise with a commitment to promoting health through science then this degree could be for you. Discover an applied understanding of sport, health and exercise sciences. You will gain hands-on experience in real world settings. You will learn how sport, physical activity and exercise can be used to prevent, manage and treat various physical and mental health conditions. And you will also explore the use of technology and data analytics in supporting health promotion, behaviour change, and encouraging people to be physically active.

Assessment method
You will be assessed through practical workshops, essays, presentations and lab reports. We use formal written examinations from time to time but they never account for more than 50% of the marks for any module.

Qualification requirements
UCAS Tariff - 104 - 112 points

Leaving Certificate - Higher Level (Ireland) (first awarded in 2017) - H3, H3, H3, H3, H3
A minimum of five subjects at Grade H1-H3 will be required.
T Level - M
If you have a minimum of two A Levels (or equivalent), there is no maximum number of qualifications that we will accept UCAS points from. This includes additional qualifications such as Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), AS Levels that haven’t been continued to A Level, and General Studies AS or A Level awards.
