User Experience (UX) Design is a creative dynamic discipline that encourages curiosity creatively expressed through the voice of people. This exciting course encourages you to explore the world of interaction design and user experience with devices and systems.
This user experience design course will develop your skills in identifying unmet needs and defining them by incorporating them into the process of design.
Our course will ingrain digital user experience design principles into our students and prepare them for a career in the industry. If you have an insatiable curiosity to speculate on the future and understand people’s experience as they interact with devices and systems - then this course is for you!
During your studies, you will develop an impressive portfolio of work that you can easily use for applying to a broad range of user experience jobs.

Course optionsWith grade C or above in the core component. T Level with additional A Level in Maths, Computing, Physics, Engineering Science, Design or Art & Design grade B
GCSE Grade C/4 in Maths is also required.
HNC with C in the graded unit in any subject
In addition have National 5 C in Maths
Pass Access to HE Diploma in a related subject with 45 credits overall with minimum 39 Credits at Merit & 6 Distinction. Maths required at Level 2 or equivalent.
Minimum grades DD (Distinction, Distinction) or MM (Merit, Merit) and A level Grade C in a related subject.
GCSE Grade C/4 in Maths.
27 points with 6, 5, 4 in HL subjects.

Minimum Year 2 Entry Requirements
HNC - Design (Digital Design & Web Development or similar), Computing, User Experience or Engineering with B in the graded unit.
SQA Advanced Highers - BBC to include one of the following subjects: Maths, Computing, Physics, Engineering Science, Design or Art & Design
A-Level - BBB to include at least one of subjects listed above
BTEC Extended Diploma - DDD in a related subject
Minimum Year 3 Entry Requirements
HND in Digital Design and Development, User Experience Design, Visual Communication (Digital Design) or HND Web Development - Pass with Grade BB at SCQF Level 8 in the graded units

Scottish bachelor’s degree in User Experience or Interaction Design (or equivalent)
