Course summary
As part of this course, you’ll:
• Learn to apply an enquiring, systematic, problem solving and self-evaluative approach to your work as a dietitian
• Be committed to using research, clinical guidelines and policy in the evaluation and improvement of evidence-based dietetic practice
• Develop further the research acumen, professional skills and abilities, values and behaviours of a registered dietitian
• Enhance appreciation of the complex framework of accountability, ethical and legal boundaries to meet Employer Frameworks and Professional Regulatory and Statutory Body Standards
• Critically appraise areas of dietetic practice
• Contribute to bodies of research and evidence-based practice through an independent, original high-quality piece of master’s-level research
Regulatory body requirement
You will need to be a registered dietitian with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) to study on this course.
