Course summary

Our BSc (Hons) Business Management prepares you to become a strategic problem-solver who can adapt to global business challenges. It provides broad and specialist understanding of business and enterprise.

You'll gain a solid understanding of firms and their behaviour. We place a strong emphasis on your professional development and practical experiences. You’ll study real organisations in order to gain strong business acumen and knowledge of management processes and practice, organisation theory and the global business environment.

Throughout your studies, you will engage with business and industry in some way, shape or form. Placements are a fantastic way to build networks and gain valuable work experience. You’ll be encouraged to develop key strategic and people management skills, as well as analytical and entrepreneurial thinking. From project, people or production management to consultancy, marketing and leadership you can go into a range of careers.

‘Placement Year’ and 'International Experience Year’ options are available for this course. You will have the opportunity to fully consider these options when you have started your course at Bangor and can make an application for a transfer onto such a pathway at the appropriate time. You can find more information about these options on our website and if you have any questions, please get in touch.

If you don’t have the required qualifications for this degree-level course or are looking to re-enter education after time away from study, then a Foundation Year Programme might be the right choice for you. Please see Business Management (with Foundation Year) N20F.
