The Humanitarian Development and Social Justice pathway offers the opportunity for students to engage with an emerging theology of humanitarian practices – exploring the complex questions that emerge for Christians engaged in social transformation through acts of compassion and professional development agencies.
The MA Theology (Humanitarian Development and Social Justice) offers students the opportunity to explore the interface of theology, faith, cultures and development practices with other practitioners. The pathway supports the exploration of issues that emerge for those engaging in compassionate ministry and social justice through humanitarian and/or development practices. It offers the chance to engage in constructively critical reflection on, and engagement with, different approaches to ministry through social transformation.
