Mae’r radd gydanrhydedd gyfrwng Cymraeg Astudiaethau Plentyndod ac Ieuenctid a Chymdeithaseg hon yn ddelfrydol i siaradwyr Cymraeg a phobl sydd eisiau gweithio a phlant yng Nghymru. Mae’r radd yn eich paratoi at weithio gyda, cefnogi, amddiffyn neu eirioli dros hawliau plant, pobl ifanc, a'u teuluoedd mewn amrywiaeth o leoliadau gofal a chymunedol.
Mae'r cwrs hwn yn eich galluogi i astudio Astudiaethau Plentyndod ac Ieuenctid a Chymdeithaseg fel rhan o radd gydanrhydedd (50% Cymdeithaseg, 50% Astudiaethau Plentyndod ac Ieuenctid). Mae astudio'r ddwy ddisgyblaeth gyflenwol hon yn rhoi dealltwriaeth gynhwysfawr o sut mae amodau cymdeithasol, sefyllfaoedd a rhyngweithiadau'n effeithio ar fywydau, ymddygiad, credoau a hunaniaeth plant a phobl ifanc. Sut maent yn effeithio ar bopeth o addysg a datblygiad i gyflogaeth, cyfoeth, iechyd meddwl a lles.
Mae’r radd yn archwilio profiadau plentyndod ac ieuenctid o’r cenhedlu i’r trawsnewid i fod yn oedolyn, gan gynnwys hawliau plant, llencyndod, datblygiad, hunaniaeth, ac amrywiaeth. Gallwch edrych ar hanes plentyndod, hawliau plant, natur plentyndod a swyddogaeth oedolion sy’n gweithio â phlant mewn cyd-destun cenedlaethol, Ewropeaidd a rhyngwladol.
Mae pwyslais cryf ar gyflogadwyedd a rhwydweithio gyda darparwyr blaenllaw ym maes gwasanaethau plant. Mae ehangder a dyfnder y radd Astudiaethau Plentyndod ac Ieuenctid a Chymdeithaseg amlddisgyblaethol hon yn eich paratoi at amrywiaeth eang o yrfaoedd.
Mae opsiynau 'Blwyddyn Profiad Rhyngwladol' a 'Blwyddyn ar Leoliad' ar gael ar gyfer y cwrs hwn. Bydd gennych y cyfle i ystyried yr opsiynau hyn yn llawn ar ôl cychwyn eich cwrs ym Mangor a gallwch wneud cais i drosglwyddo i un o’r opsiynau yma ar yr adeg priodol. We are happy to accept combinations of the qualifications listed above, as well as alternative Level 3 qualifications such as: City & Guilds; Access; Cambridge Technical Diplomas; Irish Leaving Certificate (from a minimum of 4 higher subjects); and NCFE CACHE Level 3 Extended Diploma. We also welcome applications from mature learners.
Note:
Applicants are required to undergo an enhanced DBS check for the child workforce including a check of the children’s barred list. Applicants who have lived or worked outside the UK are also required to undertake a criminal records check in their countries of residence.

On 4 December 2024 the Welsh Government confirmed that the tuition fee cap (the maximum tuition fee that regulated providers can charge to certain students on full-time undergraduate courses) will increase to £9,535 per year, subject to changes in the regulations by the Welsh Government.
