Course summary

If you are an engineering or physical sciences graduate who is interested in a career in the fast-growing field of medical physics, our MSc Medical Physics course will give you the theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and professional awareness to excel.

Whether you study our course full-time (1 year) or part-time (2-3 years), you will cover the fundamental aspects of the use of medical physics in medicine, with hands-on clinical instruction in MRI, CT, and medical linear accelerators. You will also gain experience in computer-based modelling, research methodology, ethics, and the wider role of medical physics in healthcare.
