At Collective we champion groups who have traditionally been underrepresented within the Performing Arts – specifically in terms of ethnicity, disability and class.
This Cert HE course is a part-time industry-focused actor-training and is designed for students who wish to develop foundational skills in professional acting. A key focus of the programme is screen acting and digital performance – with at least 50% of the curriculum devoted to this area of the industry, alongside theatre practices. As part of our actor-training pedagogy, students will be introduced to the core skills needed to become a self-sustaining entrepreneur within the contemporary creative industries. We believe this introduction to entrepreneurial thinking is a vital first step in helping make our students employable upon completion of the course, or for progression on to further study.
