Course summary

​Nutrition improves performance; whether in elite sport, amateur fitness or exercise among the general population. This course will enable you to gain the evidence-based knowledge and skills needed to become a professional Sports and Exercise Nutritionist. The course has been designed to enable you to join the Sport and Exercise Nutrition Register (SENr), the professional register for qualified sports and exercise nutritionists in the UK.

Our programme has been accredited by the Sport and Exercise Nutrition Register (SENR) and has met the competencies required for graduate registration of the British Dietetic Association (BDA) Sport and Exercise Nutrition Register (SENR).

You'll be taught by experienced academics, including registered SENr practitioners, to ensure you enter the workplace with the skills you need to positively impact performance of whoever you are working with.

Course Duration
Full time duration: 15 months, with option to complete in 12 months. Includes option to complete a work-based placement project of up to 6 months.
Part time duration: 3 years.

This programme is delivered on both campuses - Cyncoed and Llandaff.
