This BSc Business Management (Innovation and Entrepreneurship) offers you the chance to develop cutting-edge skills in business, technology, creativity and leadership and equip you to effectively lead innovation and digital transformation. You will be introduced to the key function of business so that you can understand where and how the management of people contributes to business success.

What you will learn

Through active learning you will develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes to develop your career in digital transformation. You will gain an understanding of businesses and the world in which they operate and develop entrepreneurial skills to support new, start-up businesses or to set up your own business. In your final year you will apply your skills in developing a business plan for a new venture, product or service innovation.

How you will learn

You will learn via lectures, seminars, presentations and group discussions. We also host guest speakers and offer you live case study sessions and panel discussions with entrepreneurs and practitioners.

You can study this course full- or part-time. You can also choose your own timetable for the core/compulsory modules selecting whether to study them in the daytime or in the evening.

Placement route

The full-time placement route is designed to enhance your employability. It will give you the opportunity to develop your skills in the workplace and apply learning from your degree in a professional setting. You will also be supported in areas such as effective job searching, the development of key application, interview and assessment skills and how to make a personal impact in the workplace. Please note that this option is not available for students who require a Student visa to study in the UK.

Foundation Year

If you opt for the Foundation Year route, this will fully prepare you for undergraduate study. It is ideal if you are returning to study after a gap, or if you have not previously studied the relevant subjects, or if you didn't achieve the grades you need for a place on your chosen undergraduate degree.
