Software Development:

Our programme develops your expertise and skill to help you design, build, and maintain trustworthy software applications. From fundamental programming languages to advanced software engineering principles, you'll gain hands-on experience in creating scalable and efficient solutions.
Web Design:
Craft captivating and user-centric digital experiences with our Web Design specialism. Develop a keen eye for aesthetics and a solid understanding of user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design principles. From concept to execution, learn to create visually stunning and functional websites.
Careers
As well as establishing their own leadership in the software and mobile app industry, graduates from UWS/NCL BSc Digital Development programme have gone on to gain employment in industry-leading companies, including IBM, Leidos, Arnold Clark, and Edge Testing.
Year 3
The emphasis is on advanced techniques in software and mobile app development as well as internet scripting. You will also explore the key techniques of machine learning and develop your skills in project management and professional practices.
The BSc Digital Development course is predominately project-based with an emphasis on problem-solving, project management, and innovative skills. Though many assignments are individual, project work is designed to prepare you for the world of work, particularly in software development and web design environment.
