Construction managers hold responsibility. They ensure a project meets the client’s needs, monitor costs, supervise workers, ensure safety and maintain quality. We designed our Construction Project Management (with Foundation Year) course to give you a broad range of skills so you can cope with a variety of situations on or off site.
The course starts with a foundation year to build your academic skills and prepare you for degree-level study. On successful completion, you’ll progress onto the Construction Project Management degree.
Graduates and employers say the placement year is highlight. We’ve built strong partnerships in industry and work to prepare you to make the most of your experience. Some students find they get offered a job before they graduate.
Years 1 to 3 are joint with our other construction courses. You can learn about other roles in the industry and switch courses until final year if you find another suits you better. The courses are accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Chartered Institute of Building so you can join as a student member.
Professionally accredited courses provide industry-wide recognition of the quality of your qualification.

We make offers based on the evidence we can see of the skills and abilities required for success and show flexibility in our confirmation of a place, where there is evidence to show that grades may not fully represent future potential.
This section shows the range of grades that students who received offers were previously accepted on to this course with (learn more).
It is designed to support your research but does not guarantee whether you will or won't get a place.
Admissions teams consider various factors, including interviews, subject requirements, and entrance tests. Check all course entry requirements for eligibility.

This report uses your grades to show how students with similar results have done when applying to this course in the past. Sometimes, there isn’t data for every possible set of grades. When that happens, universities and colleges occasionally fill in the gaps for sets of grades that are typically accepted.

Tuition fee status depends on a number of criteria and varies according to where in the UK you will study. For further guidance on the criteria for home or overseas tuition fees, please refer to the UKCISA website.
Please note tuition fees for Home students may increase in subsequent years both for new and continuing students in line with an inflationary amount determined by government. Tuition fees for International students may increase in subsequent years both for new and continuing students. Oxford Brookes University intends to maintain its fees for new and returning Home students at the maximum permitted level.
You can spend your third year on a work placement. During your placement there is a fee which is paid to the university. It covers the cost of your placement tutor, and the support we provide whilst looking for a placement position and during your placement role.
