Course summary

MA Fashion Design Management responds to the fashion and retail industry demand for appropriately educated Design Management specialists who can effectively apply their professionalism to organisations, which might include fashion brands, retailers, manufacturers or consultancies.

What can you expect?

This programme is primarily for design graduates, however those from business backgrounds, or with industry experience, are also encouraged to apply. Students are able to undertake live projects and briefs, work with industry and research practitioners, and attend a wide range of presentations across the course, college and university.

The course supports global perspectives, and students are encouraged to apply business and theoretical models to their own experience and future career ambitions. The majority of students will enter roles in industry in either large and medium-sized companies, or entrepreneurial start-ups.

The course is based at High Holborn near the central London areas of Lincoln’s Inn Fields and Clerkenwell. Holborn is just a short walk away from The British Museum, Somerset House and the historic Leather Lane market. As well as many of London College of Fashion’s Fashion business courses, High Holborn is home to UAL’s Students’ Union and a show room space hosting student led exhibitions.
