Explore the global power of communication and cultures as you develop an impressive creative portfolio and begin shaping the future of multi-platform media.
Shaping the future of media for a changing world
Who controls the stories we see, share, and believe? On this future-focused degree, you won’t just consume media – you’ll create it, question it, and use it to shape the world around you. From social media trends and digital storytelling to television, podcasts, film, music, gaming and global communication, you’ll explore the industries driving contemporary culture while developing the creative skills employers are seeking.
This is a course built around doing, creating, collaborating, and experimenting. You’ll tackle live briefs, collaborate on real-world projects, and create content across multiple platforms using industry-standard facilities and digital tools. Along the way, you’ll develop a professional portfolio that showcases your creativity, communication skills, and ability to think differently in a rapidly changing media landscape.
As part of this course, you’ll:
Produce engaging content including podcasts, blogs, digital campaigns, and visual storytelling
Pitch your own radio talk show or lifestyle TV concept
Design interactive media and online gaming ideas
Collaborate on socially engaged campaigns tackling issues such as identity, representation, and anti-racism
Explore how emerging technologies, digital platforms, and global audiences are transforming the future of communication
Work alongside professionals from media, marketing, publishing, and creative industries
By the time you graduate, you’ll have a professional portfolio, industry experience, and the confidence to stand out in today’s fast-moving creative industries.
