About the course

Humanities and Social Sciences Foundation Studies: Certificate of Higher Education is a one year programme designed to prepare you for undergraduate study or a career in the humanities and social sciences. It provides a broad introduction to key ideas, debates and research approaches across these subject areas.

This course is ideal if you do not yet meet the entry requirements for direct entry onto a degree. You will strengthen your academic skills while developing a critical understanding of society, crime, law and social research.
