The PGCert in Law and Economics is offered by the Centre for Commercial Law Studies (CCLS). This specialist programme provides an advanced professional and academic study of Law and Economics, on an interdisciplinary basis which draws significantly from both major disciplines on an integrated basis. It is designed for anyone with an academic background in Law or Economics.

The PGDip in Law and Economics is a programme offered by the Centre for Commercial Law Studies (CCLS). This specialist programme will train in Law and Economics, an interdisciplinary topic which draws from both arenas. The programme utilises different teaching technics to challenge students. It is designed for anyone with an academic background in Law or Economics.

  • Master a new discipline. If you are a lawyer, you will consider the legal implication of financial and economic dilemmas. If you are an economist, you will consider the economic impact of new laws and regulations.

  • Gain the theory, knowledge, and practical skills required to work in any legal, banking, financial, governmental or research institutions.

  • High-profile guest lecturers have included the General Counsel and Director of the Legal Department (IMF) and the Chief Legal Advisor (Bank of England) and the former Minister of Finance of Greece.

  • Taught by academics from the Institute of Banking and Finance Law and the Institute for Global Law, Economics and Finance (IGLEF), a forum for interdisciplinary study and research in the areas of law, economics and finance.
