If you’re interested in solving problems and finding out how things work, then our Physics with Foundation Year degree is a stepping stone to our Physics degrees.

During our degree course you’ll get to use specialist physics laboratories, developing your skills to be able to experiment using research equipment.
Accreditations
- This course is accredited by the IOP, the professional body and learned society for physics in the UK and Ireland. On completion of this course graduates can progress towards Chartered Physicist (Phys) status.
Future careers
Our Physics Foundation Year course leads to employment in industry, government research institutes, overseas laboratories and observatories.
