Our three-year BSc (Hons) Healthcare Science (Audiology) course with integrated clinical learning throughout, will provide you with the skills, knowledge and hands-on experience required to start an exciting and rewarding career as an audiologist. You will benefit from extensive patient contact throughout the course within the university through integrated clinical practice experience from year 1. A large proportion of your final year involves completing clinical practice experience at external clinics, helping you to prepare for your first graduate role.

• Soundproof booths and hearing testing rooms.
• Otoscan 3D ear scanner to make digital impressions for custom in-the-ear pieces such as earmolds and hearing aids.
• Audiometers TO measure an individual's hearing thresholds.
• Otoacoustic Emission (OAE) Systems to measure the responses of the inner ear (cochlea) to sound.
• Video Otoscopy to visualise the ear canal and eardrum, which is essential for diagnosing ear-related conditions.
• Tympanometers to assess the function of the middle ear, including the eardrum and the movement of the ossicles.
• Audiology Rehabilitation Tools such as FM systems and cochlear implant programming equipment.
