Recent graduates are working in a variety of positions including research in academia, NHS/private sector laboratory technician, clinical support worker, and in areas such as medical writing, clinical drug trials, medical sales, and production control. The transferable skills you gain will prepare you for a career not only in science but also in areas such as finance, management, marketing, sales, business and media. IBMS accreditation of the BSc Honours in Biomedical Science ensures that this degree meets the academic requirements for registration as a biomedical scientist with the Health and Care Professions Council which is essential if you wish to pursue a career in an NHS laboratory.
