This degree provides an excellent pathway into the financial services sector, whether you're aiming for a career in financial or management accountancy, investment banking, fund management, or insurance. Equally, if you aspire to be your own boss or contribute to a family business, our course offers the ideal foundation to support your ambitions.

This final year entry course will build on your existing knowledge of business by exploring accounting and finance across a range of different contexts. You’ll study compulsory modules designed to enhance your understanding of key theories and concepts, as well as their real-world application within different business environments. You’ll learn how to understand, interpret and act on financial accounts. You’ll learn how to put an argument across in a way that’s relevant to the main financial and non-financial drivers in a business. You’ll also learn how to use your professional judgment to understand and influence business decisions. You’ll even have the chance to explore how accounting influences sustainable decision-making and wealth distribution in society, and how power can influence accounting.
