This MSc explores complex biomedical concepts with clinical relevance, covering disease pathology, ethical frameworks, diagnostic techniques, and research design. You’ll learn to evaluate clinical literature, conduct experiments, and use data for biomedical insights. What will you learn?
You will learn about disease pathology, diagnostics, and biomedical ethics. You will also gain experience with advanced techniques such as real-time PCR, electrophoresis, and tissue culture. The course will prepare you for Higher Specialist or PhD-level progression in biomedical careers.
You have the opportunity to gain specialised skills through optional modules in cellular pathology, clinical biochemistry, haematology, immunology or genomics. This module will specialise your degree title in one of the following areas:
