The Business Management and Entrepreneurship BSc at St Mary's University London is designed for students who want to create something: a company, a product, a movement, a better way of doing things.

You'll learn how to spot opportunities, test ideas, and turn them into real ventures, with a deep grounding in the fundamentals that make businesses actually work, like entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, and strategy. Our Business and Entrepreneurship degree is based at our Twickenham campus in the beautiful London borough of Richmond-upon-Thames, giving you access to the capital's diverse business hub.

Located in South West London, we're close to large companies, some of which work with nearby Heathrow Airport. We also have relationships with small businesses and business incubators that support entrepreneurs.

Gain dual accreditation

During your Business Management and Entrepreneurship course, you can complete specific modules to achieve a Level 5 Certificate in Management and Leadership awarded by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) (subject to CMI moderation).

About the Placement Year

A placement year enables you to undertake a year of experience in an organisation between your second and final year.

It will enable you to:

• apply the knowledge and skills you gain from your course in a work setting

• build your commercial awareness and insights into organisations and industries you might want to work in

• develop your professional skills through company training, networking skills and confidence in the workplace

• get some great experience for future job applications or even land a graduate job.

Please note: in the event that you cannot secure a placement you will be able to transfer onto the three year version of your degree programme.
