Course summary

Would you like to understand the world of business and economics and how both subjects can connect
to promote a sustainable organisation? Our Foundation Degree will explore the knowledge, skills,
techniques, and behaviours needed to support your career in this discipline. You will not only learn what
it takes to be entrepreneurial but an entrepreneur who has an ethical agenda.

In year 1, you will study six core modules:

ƒ Accounting and finance principles
ƒ Business project
ƒ Introduction to microeconomics
ƒ Introduction to macroeconomics
In year 2, you will study three core modules:
ƒ Marketing principles
ƒ Accounting and finance principles

Assessment method

A series of written and practical work
is assessed by your lecturers and will
determine your overall grade.
