Do you want to be involved in finding solutions to some of the grand challenges facing societies today?

Software Engineers can be involved in problem solving related to climate change, clean water and sanitation, transportation, and many other areas. As industries develop, the possibilities, and requirements of Software Engineering change rapidly too. Computer software plays a key role in a whole host of industries and activities.

On this course, we will give you an understanding of what’s possible in this advanced subject. Core Computer Science and Maths concepts will be utilised throughout your programme. You’ll gain an understanding of the human and social contexts of software systems. Contemporary methods and techniques in software development will be explored, and you’ll also get to grips with the modern Software Engineering process.

This course is accredited by the British Computer Society (BCS). That acts as an assurance you’re studying a course of quality, and that you’re on the path to Chartered IT Professional status.
