Course summary

This sector contributes around £7.8 trillion to the global economy (Hospitality and Catering News) and is constantly evolving – growing at a rate of 5.9%, almost double that of the UK economy (UK Hospitality). With more jobs than ever before, and more businesses spending serious time and money searching for new talent and promoting those already in positions, there's never been a better time to pursue a career in luxury hospitality.

Designed with flexibility in mind, this part-time course, delivered over two years, is taught through a combination of online workshops and six intensive one-week sprints in London – allowing you to balance your studies with ongoing work commitments, no matter where in the world you're based.

Working collaboratively with professional peers from all over the world, you'll explore what it takes to lead in the luxury hospitality sector and beyond. You'll dive into all aspects of the industry (from service excellence and innovation to brand strategy and financial forecasting), investigate current issues and propose creative solutions to real problems, while learning to:

Manage projects, budgets and partnerships
Implement strategies to maintain a competitive edge
Develop a supportive, inclusive team culture
Create impactful marketing, PR and social media content
Confidently make judgements and take risks
Overcome team changes, challenges and PR crises
Use new technology to drive innovation
Learning part-time enables you to fuel your curiosity and improve your skillset while continuing in your current role – applying your learning practically as you complete online modules and hands-on assessments tailored to your specialism, and work on a major project or thesis: building something that’ll have a tangible and lasting impact on your workplace.
