The global interest in the role of nutrition to enhance health and performance has grown exponentially, creating an increased demand for dynamic, innovative nutrition graduates.
Our comprehensive sport and exercise nutrition degree is accredited by the Association for Nutrition (AfN). Here, you will gain an understanding of the key disciplines of nutrition, physiology, and psychology, tailored specifically to the unique demands of optimizing athletic performance and promoting health through nutrition. You can also expand your expertise by developing your individual strengths and interests, with the option to engage in a year-long industry placement to further enrich your learning experience and career prospects.
Here at Manchester Met, our accredited team of nutritionists, sport scientists and professionals collaborate with many organisations, from local sports clubs to Olympic athletes, offering invaluable opportunities for practical application and real-world placements. Approved course - You can apply for direct entry to the UK Voluntary Register of Nutritionists (UKVRN) as an Associate Registered Nutritionist (ANutr) when you graduate.
