History (Taught)

Our MA in History offers you the opportunity to advance your explorations of History in a supported and structured programme of study. The broad and comprehensive expertise of our world-leading historians – ranging in time from the Middle Ages to the recent past, and in place from the local Potteries to continental Europe, the US, South Asia and Africa – offers a wide scope for your research pursuits. On Keele’s MA in History, you’ll delve into the politics, culture, economics, crime and governance of past societies – from as far back as the Middle Ages to the present day – examining the motivations and behaviour of individuals and societies when organising life materially and conceptually, individually and collectively.
