About the course
This course will immerse you within a community of creative, collaborative practice where the art of filmmaking is at the centre. You will learn how to navigate the industry, which will support the technical and creative filmcraft skills you develop throughout your studies. Film production is continuously evolving, and we are constantly adapting our courses to meet the needs of the industry. This course’s intensive curriculum will challenge you to develop your skills and prepare you for today’s production world. Moreover, you will gain experience shooting your projects on the newest developments in HD, film and digital equipment – from Canon 6D to Red Raven – and classic film cameras such as Panavision and Arriflex on 8mm, super 16mm and 35mm film.
Throughout the course, you will create a professional showreel, which will serve as a calling card for your filmmaking skills and upon graduating, you will be a fully-fledged filmmaker who is ready to progress into work within the film and TV industry as well as other exciting areas such as digital media, marketing and distribution.
