Empower and support patients on their journey to recovery with our NMC-validated Mental Health Nursing degree.

Mental health nursing is a challenging but rewarding profession.

As a qualified nurse, you’ll identify the needs of people who may be vulnerable, plan and deliver care, and encourage them to believe that recovery is possible.

Our accredited course combines high-quality classroom teaching with hands-on placements. Alongside developing your practical skills, you’ll learn about the causes of mental ill health and evidence-based interventions, the experiences of people from different backgrounds and demographics, and the biological, psychological and social factors that can affect mental health.

When you graduate, you’ll have the skills, knowledge and confidence to begin your career as a mental health nurse and be prepared for professional practice.

Our course is approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) in the UK, meaning you’ll be eligible to apply for registration on graduation and start your career in mental health nursing.

You could work in a range of settings, including inpatient services, home treatment teams and community mental health teams.
