About the course

BSc Architectural Technology focuses on the technical design and delivery of buildings, bridging creative architectural concepts with practical construction and performance requirements. You’ll explore how buildings are designed, detailed and delivered, with an emphasis on sustainability, materials, regulations and digital technologies.

This course is designed for students who want to work at the technical heart of the built environment, supporting architects, engineers and construction professionals in the development of safe, efficient and innovative buildings.

What you’ll study

You’ll build a solid foundation in architectural technology, while gaining professional skills valued across architecture, construction and the built environment sectors, including technical design development, digital modelling, building regulations compliance, sustainable construction principles and professional communication.
