Course summary
A wyddech chi fod BA Cymraeg ym Mangor yn llawer mwy na chwrs gradd? Mae'n brofiad diwylliannol cyflawn a fydd yn eich galluogi i chwarae rhan broffesiynol yng nghyffro creu Cymru wirioneddol ddwyieithog. Mewn meysydd fel addysg, y diwydiannau creadigol a’r sector treftadaeth, darlledu a’r cyfryngau, cysylltiadau cyhoeddus a marchnata, cyfieithu, cynllunio ieithyddol a gweinyddu cyhoeddus, mae graddedigion Bangor yn cyflawni swyddi o bwys. Maent yno ymhlith arweinwyr ein Cymru gyfoes ac yn llunio ein dyfodol.
Iaith fyw y presennol yn hytrach na chrair o'r gorffennol yw'r Gymraeg ym Mangor. Yma cewch gyfle nid yn unig i astudio a mwynhau un o lenyddiaethau Celtaidd hynotaf y byd, ond cyfle hefyd i ddilyn modiwlau mwy ymarferol eu gogwydd a fydd yn baratoad ardderchog ar gyfer gyrfa a swydd. Bydd y cwrs hwn yn eich galluogi i ymchwilio’n annibynnol, i feddwl yn wreiddiol, i ddod i adnabod llenyddiaeth Gymraeg a diwylliant Cymru mewn dyfnder ac i feistroli gwahanol gyweiriau’r iaith. Os dymunwch, bydd cyfle i chi ddilyn eich diddordebau creadigol o dan arweiniad ysgrifenwyr a beirdd profiadol. Cewch ymwybyddiaeth hefyd o’r Gymraeg mewn cyd-destunau rhyngwladol ehangach. Beth yw perthynas y Gymraeg ag ieithoedd eraill y byd? Sut mae ffawd yr iaith yn cymharu ag ieithoedd fel Basgeg a Gwyddeleg? Sut mae llenorion a beirdd Cymru wedi ymateb i themâu byd-eang fel caethwasiaeth, yr Holocost a her ecolegol y byd modern diwydiannol? O’r cyfnodau cynharaf hyd at y presennol, mae’r dewisiadau o ran modiwlau yn eang a’r cyfleoedd i ehangu eich gorwelion yn ddi-ben-draw.
Derbynnir myfyrwyr o gefndiroedd iaith gyntaf ac ail iaith i ddilyn y cwrs hwn. Mae’n ddilyniant naturiol hefyd i fyfyrwyr a ddilynodd y flwyddyn sylfaen Cymraeg i Ddechreuwyr. Mae’n addas yn ogystal i rai a gyrhaeddodd lefel hyfedredd mewn Cymraeg, e.e. drwy Gyrsiau Dysgu Cymraeg y Ganolfan Dysgu Cymraeg Genedlaethol.
Mae opsiynau 'Blwyddyn Profiad Rhyngwladol' a 'Blwyddyn ar Leoliad' ar gael ar gyfer y cwrs hwn. Bydd gennych y cyfle i ystyried yr opsiynau hyn yn llawn ar ôl cychwyn eich cwrs ym Mangor a gallwch wneud cais i drosglwyddo i un o’r opsiynau yma ar yr adeg priodol. Mae mwy o wybodaeth am yr opsiynau hyn ar ein gwefan, ac mae croeso i chi gysylltu â ni os oes gennych unrhyw ymholiad.
Os nad oes gennych mo'r cymwysterau gofynnol ar gyfer cwrs lefel gradd hwn, neu os ydych am fynd yn ôl i addysg yn dilyn cyfnod i ffwrdd, yna gall Rhaglen Blwyddyn Sylfaen fod y dewis iawn i chi. Gwnewch gais am Cymraeg i Ddechreuwyr Q565.
