Education re-engineered

More than a degree. The start of an international Dyson career.

Our programme is an innovative, four-year integrated MEng engineering degree, offering you the opportunity to study a rigorous academic degree alongside practically applying this knowledge to real engineering problems at Dyson, in both the UK and Asia. The employer-sponsored degree enables you to pursue your passion for engineering, without tuition fees, whilst earning a starting salary of £23,500. Working alongside experienced engineers on live Dyson projects, across a range of business functions, you will quickly grow your responsibilities and broaden your experience. With Dyson’s expertise across motors, fluid dynamics, separation systems, energy storage, robotics, hair science and software, you’ll have the chance to work within a number of technical disciplines globally. In your third year you’ll experience the global nature of engineering at Dyson first-hand, immersing yourself in engineering teams in Dyson’s Asia offices. Studying whilst working won’t be easy. However, you’ll be surrounded by passionate academics and engineers who understand how to help you succeed. You’ll also have our on-site student support services to help you thrive during your time as an Undergraduate Engineer. After graduation (and assuming you meet the other conditions for continued employment) you'll transition to the next step in your international Dyson career, with individual accelerated progression pathways designed to develop you as a future technical, project and people leader.

The biggest impact

I believe opting for a degree programme with a work-based element has had the biggest impact on where I am in my career today. Without the workplace rotations in the first two years of the course, I wouldn’t have been aware of acoustics as an engineering discipline.
