Eligibility criteria
We'll award 5 scholarships to UK students achieving AAA at A-level (or equivalent qualification) who are able to demonstrate a significant contribution and commitment to social responsibility.
Successful applicants will be identified via both:
Applicants who exceed AAA and/or have supplementary qualifications (such as EPQ) will receive additional consideration. Your written application should consist of two parts with about 1,000 words for each part.
In the first part, please outline your previous personal social responsibility (SR) involvement in, for example, community-based projects, volunteering opportunities and/or fundraising activities, and explain how they are linked to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
In the second part, please explain how you could further develop yourself and help develop other students in the school and university to become socially responsible graduates (please also include your understanding of the key attributes of “socially responsible graduates”).
The winners of this prestigious scholarship will be assigned a mentor from the AMBS Social Responsibility committee to help with their SR initiatives, involvement and development during their undergraduate studies at AMBS. They will be encouraged to become an AMBS Social Responsibility Student Champion and will be invited to meet the full SR committee once a year.
