Faculty of Computing, Engineering and Science Travel Bursary 2026/2027
Scholarship information
This travel bursary is for any University of South Wales student on a Faculty of Computing, Engineering and Science (FCES) degree and undertaking their sandwich year during 2026/27.
The bursary is intended to provide financial support towards your travel costs to and from your sandwich placement.
Am I eligible?
To be eligible, you need to meet the following criteria:
- Currently studying on an eligible full-time, Undergraduate Sandwich degree in the Faculty of Computing, Engineering, and Science.
- Will be undertaking your sandwich year during the academic year 2026/2027

- BEng (Hons) Aeronautical Engineering
- BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering
- BEng (Hons) Civil Engineering
- BSc (Hons) Construction Project Management
- BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management
- BSc (Hons) Computer Science
- BSc (Hons) Digital Forensics
- BEng (Hons) Automotive Engineering
- BEng (Hons) Electrical and Electronic Engineering
- BSc (Hons) Computing
- BSc (Hons) Biology
- BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science
- BSc (Hons) Forensic Investigation
- BSc (Hons) Forensic Science
- BSc (Hons) Wildlife Ecology and Conservation

How do I apply?
Provided you meet the eligibility criteria, no further action is required.
Following enrolment onto your sandwich year, you will receive an email from the University during September 2026 confirming that the travel bursary will be paid and the additional details.
