Unlock Your Greatness Scholarship

We’re excited to announce that we’ll be awarding two scholarships to students starting this September or November. 

The Unlock Your Greatness Scholarships will support students who have faced real challenges and found the resilience to keep going. 

The Unlock Your Greatness scholarships will help two students from the lowest participation areas of the UK achieve their dreams of going to university. We believe that higher education should be accessible to all, particularly those who might not consider university an affordable option.  The scholarship will cover the full cost of your tuition fees for three years, or two years if an accelerated student.  

You can apply for the Unlock Your Greatness Scholarship if you have completed an application to study at UA92 starting in September or November. You must also meet the following eligibility criteria in order to be considered:  

To be eligible for consideration, students must have completed an application to study at UA92 starting in September or November. Candidates must meet specific criteria, including:

1. Eligibility to receive a Full Time Maintenance Loan from SFE.
2. Hold an unconditional offer to study at UA92 starting September or November 2025
3. (a) Have been in receipt of free school meals in their most recent year of school or college
   and/or
   (b) Live in a POLAR4 Quintile 1 or Quintile 2 postcode area (areas with low higher education participation rates). You can find this information on the Office for Students postcode checker.

Your application will be assessed by our Bursaries Committee and you will be notified if you have been selected to receive an Unlock Your Greatness Scholarship.
