The UCFB First Generation Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to two dedicated students who are the first in their family to enrol in university. The award recognises individuals who can demonstrate how studying a UCFB degree will help them achieve their academic and career aspirations. The scholarship aims to empower and support first-generation students by providing financial assistance and opportunities to develop their skills, gain industry experience, and build successful futures in the sports industry.

During your course of study, you will receive:

• Finance support for Training & Development. Students can choose training and development in areas such as; Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Training, coaching qualifications and public speaking. 
• Access to Placements. In order to support students in gaining valuable experience and picking up additional skills, funding will be available in the second and third year to cover certain costs for up to two work placements/internships.
• Up to £120 of the scholarship fund is allocated towards the purchase of UCFB Sports Kit

Eligibility: First generation student holding an offer to study at the UCFB for September 2026.
