Sir Bert Massie Scholarship

Amount awarded: £5,000 each year for the duration of your course excluding any placement years (terms and conditions apply) 

Open to: UK (home) or ROI students

Not open to: Students who already have an honours degree, international students, students on a course that attracts additional funding via the NHS Learner Support Fund, postgraduate students.

Who should apply?

• You must have LJMU as your first choice (firm) via UCAS
• In recognition of Sir Bert Massie, who was a national disability rights champion and former student of LJMU. We are looking to award a scholarship to an outstanding disabled student who has campaigned or championed inclusion in some way.
• Applications will be selected from evidence submitted in the form of references, personal statement and if shortlisted, an interview.
• The final interview stage will look to select those that are most likely to succeed on their course.
• You must be an outstanding student who will act as an ambassador for LJMU
