Vice Chancellor’s Scholarship

Aberystwyth University offers Regional Scholarships to support international students pursuing postgraduate taught programmes. Eligible students can receive a tuition fee reduction of £2,000–£3,000, depending on their academic qualifications. This scholarship can be combined with the International Accommodation Award for additional support.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must be applying for a postgraduate taught programme at Aberystwyth University.
• Must reside in one of the eligible countries (please refer to terms and conditions).
• Must be an international-fee paying student.
• Must be self-funding and not receiving any other scholarships, except the International Accommodation Award.
• Must meet the University’s standard entry requirements.

Award Amount:

• Students with an equivalent of a UK First Honours degree: £3,000 tuition fee reduction
• Students with an equivalent of a UK Upper Second (2:1) or Lower Second (2:2) degree: £2,000 tuition fee reduction
  (Check the equivalence of your degree to confirm eligibility.)

How to Apply:
Eligible students are automatically considered for the scholarship. The University will assess eligibility based on your country of domicile, fee status, and academic qualifications submitted in your application. No separate application is required.
