Daniel
Buckinghamshire New UniversitySport and Exercise ScienceHi everyone! My name is Daniel and I am a mature student at BNU who took a few years out before university as I was unsure of what I wanted to do for my career. That time helped me realise my passion for sport and shaped my career goal of becoming a Performance Analyst within football. Studying Sport and Exercise Science at BNU has felt like the perfect first step toward that career. Now in my 3rd Year at BNU, I can confidently say that deciding to go to university and study Sport and Exercise Science is one of the best decisions I've ever made! Football is a big part of my life! I play in a 6-aside tournament with my friends in High Wycombe, and I’m a proud supporter of Wycombe Wanderers and Chelsea FC. When I’m not watching or playing football, you’ll probably find me running. I’ve completed three marathons so far: Brighton 2022, Manchester 2023, and Southampton 2024. I’m also involved in university life as a Student Ambassador, as well as a Student Rep for my course. I’m proud to have both of these roles at BNU as they let me support other students and allow me to help make student life even better at BNU. Outside of sport, I love travelling wherever I can. Over the last few years I’ve started exploring Europe, visiting Prague, Dublin, Munich, Brussels, Paris, and Budapest! I’m extremely excited to tick off even more cities soon. If you have any questions about studying at BNU, student life, the Sport and Exercise Science course, or anything at all, I’m always happy to chat! Elisabeth
